About the Role
DOPE Marketing is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Strategist & Media Buyer to manage and optimize paid media campaigns while improving marketing funnels and automation strategies.
This role involves executing and scaling digital advertising efforts across Facebook, YouTube, Shopify and other platforms while working closely with the sales, creative, and operations teams. A strong foundation in marketing psychology, funnel optimization, and automation is essential.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys testing and refining digital campaigns, and is eager to contribute to a growing marketing strategy.
This is an in-house role where you will collaborate with top media buyers, gain hands-on experience with large budgets, and play a key role in driving company growth.
Position Responsibilities for the Marketing Strategist & Media Buyer
Paid Media Management
- Help plan, execute, and optimize paid ad campaigns across Facebook, YouTube, Shopify and other platforms
- Analyze campaign performance data and adjust strategies to maximize return on investment
- Test and refine offers across different audiences and marketing channels
Marketing Funnel Optimization
- Analyze and improve sales funnels, lead flows, and conversion rates
- Leverage automation tools to enhance customer engagement and retention
- Establish tracking systems to measure marketing effectiveness
Creative Strategy & Testing
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop ad creatives, messaging, and offers
- Continuously test and iterate on ad copy, visuals, and video content
Analytics & Reporting
- Build reports to track campaign performance and identify trends
- Provide strategic recommendations for improving marketing effectiveness
Automation & CRM Management
- Utilize GoHighLevel, HubSpot, Analytic platforms, and Shopify to set up automations and track leads
- Optimize marketing workflows and lead nurturing sequences
Cross-Team Collaboration
- Work with the sales team to assess lead quality and adjust campaigns accordingly
- Align marketing strategies with overall business and revenue goals
Who We’re Looking For
This role is suited for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset, strong analytical skills, and a passion for performance marketing. Experience in paid media management and marketing automation is required, but we are looking for someone who is eager to learn and improve.
NOTE: We DO NOT need your expertise to be in the strategy in setting up the ads, but more the experience or willingness to adapt the mindset required to be trained in our internal systems and strategies after your initial onboarding.
Ideal candidates will have:
- Experience with marketing automation and CRM systems such as GoHighLevel or HubSpot
- A deep understanding of marketing psychology and conversion rate optimization
- Entrepreneurial experience, such as running an e-commerce brand, working in an agency, or managing paid campaigns for a business
- A data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze results and implement improvements
