We're hiring an accomplished, result-oriented IT Manager. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing our IT infrastructure and operations based in Salt Lake City, Utah in close collaboration with Doppelmayr Headquarters in Austria.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Set the strategy of the IT organization for Doppelmayr USA in close collaboration with Doppelmayr Headquarters in Austria to maximize the success of business and IT initiatives
- Manage an IT team and infrastructure for approximately 200 employees for Doppelmayr USA
- Operative responsibility for IT-infrastructure, IT-networks, communication systems, and IT-support
- Maintain and troubleshoot connectivity for ERP system, manufacturing equipment, engineering software, and other operation related systems
- Analyze current systems and assets, recommend and implement solutions and upgrades, and provide training
- Ensure network components work together seamlessly to meet business needs
- Develop and execute disaster planning and maintain data backups
- Collaborate with department managers to understand specific requirements of different departments
- Evaluate suppliers, hardware, and software options, taking into account factors like cost, compatibility, and support
- Make sure that local IT runs with highest availability and according to group-wide cyber security standards
- Collaborate with the Digital Security Officer (CISO) and IT colleagues of the Doppelmayr group to ensure that Doppelmayr USA contributes to, embraces, and applies security strategy and policies
- Provide first-level support services to all employees of Doppelmayr USA for systems
