POSITION OVERVIEW
dormakaba is seeking a Master Scheduler based in Reamstown, PA. The Master Scheduler is responsible for coordinating and expediting the flow of work and materials between production cells and departments to guarantee accurate and timely execution of orders, to satisfy Customers’ needs.
HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $75,000 - $85,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Prepare and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules
- Coordinate with other planners to establish sequence and lead time of each operation, to meet ship dates for actual sales orders for our customers, as well as to prepare to meet forecasted and anticipated sales demand
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Production Management and the Supervisory team to understand our workforce’s skillset and cross-training status as well as equipment capacities for proper resource allocation through the production planning process
- Accurately maintain MRP data to ensure proper stocking levels are kept both on internal make items and purchased parts, so that materials are available for our production considering internal resources as well as vendor lead-times
- Prepare purchase requisitions to obtain purchased parts and materials through MRP and other demand planning processes and tools, to maintain targeted inventory levels
- Collaborate with the Purchasing team to ensure materials are available on time for our production. Handles purchase to customer order requirements, communicates with sub-contractors and manages outside service needs through work orders, requisitions, and reports
WHAT WE REQUIRE
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or 3 years of relevant production planning experience in a manufacturing environment with a High School diploma or equivalent
- Proficient in inventory control and scheduling, as well as managing purchasing requirements.
- Experience utilizing MRP and ERP systems
- Strong understanding of Bill of Materials and Routing Operations
