Duties
- Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in and check-out processes at the front desk.
- Manage phone calls with professionalism, addressing inquiries and scheduling appointments efficiently.
- Review and maintain accurate documentation of patient records, ensuring compliance with dental terminology and office protocols.
- Utilize electronic health record systems such as Dentrix for data entry and retrieval of patient information.
- Assist in coordinating patient flow within the clinic to optimize scheduling and reduce wait times.
- Handle administrative tasks including filing, insurance verification, and billing inquiries as needed.
Skills
- Proficient in front desk operations with a strong understanding of clinic workflows.
- Excellent phone etiquette to ensure effective communication with patients and staff.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems such Dentrix.
- Ability to review documentation accurately while understanding dental terminology.
- Strong organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Competency in computer systems for data entry and patient management.
