Job Description:
Instructing students in the field of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) requires a strong foundation in the subject matter. As an Instructor at Dorsey College, you will be responsible for teaching courses that cover the principles and practices of HVAC systems. This includes lectures, discussions, and hands-on training in laboratory settings.
The ideal candidate will possess a degree or certification in HVAC/R or a related field, along with experience in the industry. Teaching experience is preferred, but not required. We are looking for individuals who can motivate and engage students in the learning process, providing a positive and supportive classroom environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Requirements:
* Associate's degree, diploma, or certificate in HVAC/R or engineering from a post-secondary institution accredited by agencies recognized by the U.S. DOE.
* Minimum one year's teaching or field experience in the subject to be taught; or served a documented apprenticeship with a licensed HVAC/R journeyman.
* Certification from a recognized certification agency in the field taught must be obtained within 120 days of first day teaching class at Dorsey Schools and maintained according to the certification agency guidelines.
