Duties and Responsibilities
The HVAC Adjunct Instructor will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering quality classroom instruction, assessing student learning, and demonstrating effectiveness in Student Retention, Student Success, and Student Attendance. Additional responsibilities include conducting engaging classroom lectures, motivating students, advising students on attendance and grades, contacting absentee students, managing classroom environment, and ensuring instructor preparedness before class.
Requirements and Qualifications
The minimum qualifications for this position include an associate's degree, diploma, or certificate in HVAC/R or engineering from a post-secondary institution accredited by agencies recognized by the U.S. DOE. Prior experience teaching is preferred. The candidate must also possess certifications required for the field taught, such as certification from a recognized certification agency in the field of HVAC.
