Job Description
The HVAC Adjunct Instructor will be responsible for teaching students in the classroom, laboratory, and clinical settings. You will deliver quality instruction, assess student learning, and demonstrate effectiveness in Student Retention, Student Success, and Student Attendance. Your duties will also include conducting engaging classroom lectures, motivating students, advising students on attendance and grades, contacting absentee students, managing classroom environment, and ensuring instructor preparedness before class.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have at least an associate's degree, diploma, or certificate in HVAC/R or engineering from a post-secondary institution accredited by agencies recognized by the U.S. DOE. Prior experience teaching is preferred. You must also possess certifications required for the field taught, such as certification from a recognized certification agency in the field of HVAC.
