SUMMARY:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist oversees the full recruitment process, from sourcing and screening candidates to extending offers and tracking talent, including part-time, full-time, per-dream, and adjunct instructors. This role will require participation in workforce planning to determine staffing needs by building and maintaining a robust pipeline of candidates for both current and future opportunities. The specialist works closely with hiring managers to ensure a seamless recruitment experience and keeps precise records of all candidates and the current workforce.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Build and maintain relationships with candidates and hiring managers to ensure a positive candidate experience and effective communication throughout the recruitment process.
- Partner with hiring managers to ensure the highest quality candidates are sourced and selected.
- Conduct initial screenings of resumes, assess candidate fit, and conduct virtual and in-person interviews.
- Schedule interviews, conduct debrief sessions and present offers to selected candidates.
- Maintain adjunct instructors' contracts.
- Develop and implement creative methods for sourcing candidates to identify diverse, top talent.
- Partner with hiring managers to develop and maintain a talent pipeline of qualified candidates.
- Collaborate with hiring managers by providing strategic guidance and equipping leaders with tools and techniques to conduct impactful interviews.
- Maintain solid industry awareness and market intelligence in terms of hiring trends, competitive landscape, compensation trends, and recruiting challenges to make recommendations for innovative solutions to enhance organizational effectiveness. Manage the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- - Workday including documentation and details throughout all phases of the recruitment process.
- Integrate talent acquisition into a highly effective onboarding program that provides a successful candidate experience and ensures retention.
- Bring fresh ideas and insights to advance our talent acquisition strategy and vision for the future
- Perform other related duties as may be assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant human resources experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field
- Prior recruitment experience required
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR) preferred
- Prior Workday experience preferred
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Ability to work effectively at a computer for up to eight hours daily
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
- Regular attendance is necessary and essential function
