Position Overview:
Dorsey Tire Company is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Counter Sales/Service Coordinator to join our team at our Summerville, SC location. This role is essential to ensuring exceptional service for our commercial vehicle customers. As the first point of contact for many of our clients, you’ll provide expert consultation on tire and repair needs, schedule service calls, and facilitate sales. This is an hourly position with the opportunity to earn commission on sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Consultation:
- Greet customers and assist with inquiries related to tire sales and repair services for commercial vehicles.
- Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate products and services.
- Provide clear and detailed explanations of services, pricing, and timelines.
- Sales and Commission:
- Proactively sell tires, accessories, and repair services to meet customer needs.
- Process sales transactions accurately while maintaining a focus on delivering value to customers.
- Maximize sales opportunities to earn commission while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Service Coordination:
- Handle incoming service calls in a fast-paced environment, responding promptly and professionally.
- Schedule and prioritize service appointments based on customer needs and shop capacity.
- Coordinate with technicians and service teams to ensure timely completion of work.
- Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales, and service appointments.
- Handle invoicing, payment processing, and other related tasks efficiently.
- Manage inventory and coordinate with the warehouse to ensure product availability.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Previous experience in a customer service, sales, or service coordinator role preferred.
- Knowledge of commercial vehicle tires and repair services is highly desirable.
- Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Sales acumen and a results-oriented mindset to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Requirements:
