What are the responsibilities and job description for the Powder Coat Paint Operator position at Dose Steelworks, Inc?
Dose Steelworks, a growing steel manufacturing company, is looking to expand our paint team. The primary functions of this job include operating an automated powder coat paint system by working with automated paint equipment, blast equipment and oven. Experience working with power finish equipment is preferred.
Job details are as follows:
Ability to read and comprehend work instructions, paint production lists and load the paint line with appropriate parts.
Ability to set up the paint guns and system to obtain the proper paint coverage on parts.
Proficiency in paint equipment programming and setting up new recipes will be required.
Attention to detail, commitment to a quality job well done, ability to quickly problem solve, good communication skills, being a good team member and willingness to help on different projects when needed is required. Previous work experience with an automated powder finish paint line preferred. Pay rate is based on experience.
Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
Work Environment- Must be willing and able to work in an environment that can include but not limited to dust, elevated noise, and uncontrolled temperatures.
