Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Tradesperson to perform various tasks in the maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds at our facilities. Key responsibilities include carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, painting, and ground maintenance.
Maintenance Responsibilities:
- Repair and treat structures such as floors, sinks, walls, and roofs
- Perform minor troubleshooting: repair and adjustment of doors, cabinets, locks, shelves, chairs
- Change filters on AC/Heating units
- Connect, install, and service appliances
Additional Tasks:
- Report mechanical malfunctions to the appropriate party for repair
- Move furniture and equipment at various facilities/sites
- Assist in obtaining quotes and arranging for services of outside vendors
- Update work logs for specific site requirements
- Respond to alarm calls as assigned
Requirements
- Troubleshooting ability
- Knowledge of construction methods/tools and ability to do math and read blueprints
- Working knowledge of repairing buildings/structures
- Valid driver's license
- Clean and current DMV printout
- Currently possess or can obtain OSHA 10 certification
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Effectively use a variety of hand and power tools
- Follow oral and/or written instructions: maintain work logs
- Ability to maintain a cooperative and effective working relationship with those contacted in the course of work assignments
- Ability to bend and lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work flexible hours
