Double J Transport is seeking an experienced Logistics Sales Executive to join our growing team!
Double J Transport is headquartered in Jackson, WI and hauls freight across 48 states. Double J Transport is currently offering an exceptional career opportunity in its Brokerage Department for a self-motivated professional.
Role Description
As a Logistics Sales Executive, you will be responsible for building your book of business by identifying new customer opportunities and providing outstanding customer service to grow existing accounts.
- Generate revenue by using creative methods to prospect, solicit, and set up new customers.
- Develop new customers through cold-calling and cold visits.
- Educate potential leads about shipping solutions.
- Provide outstanding customer service to further develop existing accounts.
- Participate in RFP/RFQs and negotiate rates when requested.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Education, Experience, and Skill Requirements
- 5 years of Transportation, Logistics, or Freight Brokerage industry experience preferred
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and Outlook
- Experience with customer relationship management software (CRM) such as Salesforce preferred
- Highly motivated, goal driven, and results oriented
- Must be able to negotiate and problem-solve
- Ability to travel, as needed
