This role will be hybrid based out of our NYC office (opening Spring ‘25)
Responsibilities
Brand Tone And SEO Strategy Development
- Over the years our brand’s messaging has become increasingly disconnected, with different tones, taglines, etc… throughout the customer journey. It’s a mess. We own it. We want you to unify it. Building off significant brand work done in 2024 you’ll build a copy and tone guide to align with our value propositions and consumer targeting. You’ll then help execute the brand strategy, ensuring that as we update assets, they’re hitting that strategic tone. All the while, with ongoing keyword research, you’ll make sure that content is optimized for SEO.
Content Optimization:
DTC:
- Working through key pages and products first, bring the brand to life in a consistent manner which drives confidence to click. Partner with our Manager of Social to identify partnership opportunities to drive content authority (EATS) through bylines and external editor partnerships. Execute against recently done SEO audits to ensure that we’re working in a methodical way to build long form content and PDP updates (ex. FAQs) to optimize key word rankings. Work with our email marketing and paid social agencies to ensure that external facing efforts are on brand.
Amazon:
- Execute a structured process to align content creation (titles, FAQs, bullet points, etc…) with our new product development cycle, ensuring that when products are ready to launch we have a cohesive brand focused story ready to go. Leverage Amazon Experiments to continuously optimize product titles, bullet points, and descriptions. Enhance image assets with conversion-focused text based on competitive research findings
Technical SEO audits (Nice To Have):
- Conduct thorough technical SEO audits to identify and resolve site issues. Provide strategic recommendations for on-page optimization, site architecture improvements, and backlink acquisition.
Process Improvement:
- Develop and refine internal processes for efficient data analysis and SEO strategy implementation. Stay current with emerging SEO and data analysis tools and methodologies.
Required Skills:
- 2-4 years of hands on copy writing experience for a consumer facing brand, including long and short form content
- Experience working across multiple channels, such as paid social and email
- Strong knowledge of SEO best practices for both DTC and Amazon
- Experience with SEO and analytics
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
