Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily operations within the restaurant, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company standards.
- Lead, train, and mentor team members, fostering a positive work environment that encourages growth and collaboration.
- Manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, inventory control, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems efficiently to process transactions accurately.
- Monitor staff performance and provide feedback to enhance service quality.
- Collaborate with management to implement promotional activities and catering services as needed.
Skills
- Strong background in hospitality management or related fields within the food industry.
- Experience in kitchen management or supervising staff in a quick service fast food restaurant setting.
- Proficient in using POS systems for efficient transaction processing.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations effectively.
- Knowledge of catering operations is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating leadership qualities.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing restaurant operations.
- Ability to step into various positions in the restaurant, including cooking, prepping, and serving.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage schedules, prep charts, and production timelines.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules, sales patterns, and high-pressure situations.
- Ability to perform opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and accounting.
- Must be able to lift 25-30 lbs and stand for extended periods.
