Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 5 pm with occasional weekends

Compensation:$16.82 - $19.23 hourly
Responsibilities:- Prepare sales presentations and support materials for prospective customers, such as suitable event space, dining and catering services, hotel bookings, and access to relevant facilities
- Plan and organize work schedules, file important documents, and communicate with stakeholders and hotel departments about sales-related information
- Perform an initial pitch to a list of business and referral prospects based on your research and networking
- Assist clients by acting as a point of contact and communicating with them by phone and email in response to their queries and requests
- Recognize opportunities to maximize revenue opportunities by up-selling and offering enhancements to create outstanding guest satisfaction for the hotel group
Specific Experience/Skills Need:
- Hotel sales experience preferred
- Hotel experience is highly preferred
- 2 years of administrative experience
- Has personal integrity, manages time well, is highly visible in areas of responsibility, and can effectively prioritize workload.
- Excellent selling skills.
- Ability to type 55 wpm.
- Experience with accounting procedures and general administrative tasks.
- Must be proficient in Windows Operating Systems.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports correspondence as well as dates and times.
- Ability to apply deductive skills to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Must be effective at listening to, understanding, clarifying, and resolving the concerns and issues raised by co-workers and guests.
- Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.
- Must be able to work independently and simultaneously manage multiple tasks, strong organization and presentation skills.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
