DEPARTMENT: ACCOUNTING
JOB OBJECTIVE:
Provide accurate and timely Accounting support for the Radisson Hotel JFK Airport that enables them to successfully achieve their brand and corporate business goals and objectives. The following lists of essential duties are not exclusive of other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Accounting Clerk
- Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department
- Prepare bank deposits, invoices and statements
- Recording of revenues
- Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
- Performing accounts payable procedures, including coding and recording vendor invoices.
- Assisting in preparing month end closing-verify inventory, audit banks, etc.
- Purchase order review and invoice preparation for payment processing
- Organize all kinds of financial transactions such as classifying, computing, posting, recording and verifying accounts receivables’ data, on a daily basis
- Take measures to ensure payment of invoices such as sending bill reminders and contacting customers
- Detect problems with clients’ billing issues and help to resolve them.
- Answering chargebacks
- Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas
- Constantly update job knowledge

- Functions well under pressure
