Position Summary :
Doubletree by Hilton Portland is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Catering Sales Manager to drive sales and revenue growth across our event spaces and catering services. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for sales, a keen eye for detail, and a proven track record of exceeding targets in the hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities :
- Actively promote and sell event spaces, catering services, and packages to corporate clients, social groups, and individuals.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and industry partners to maximize sales opportunities and referrals.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create tailored catering menus and packages that meet client needs and preferences.
- Conduct site tours, tastings, and presentations to showcase event spaces and catering offerings to prospective clients.
- Manage the end-to-end sales process, from initial inquiry to contract negotiation and event execution, ensuring seamless coordination and client satisfaction.
- Develop and implement sales strategies and marketing initiatives to drive awareness, generate leads, and increase bookings.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure successful event delivery and guest experiences.
