We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Manager to oversee the housekeeping department within our establishment. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain cleanliness in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high performance.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and common areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Address guest inquiries or complaints regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain records related to housekeeping activities, including staff schedules, inventory logs, and inspection reports.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in housekeeping management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques, floor care, and custodial practices.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with guests and staff alike.
- Familiarity with hotel operations is preferred but not mandatory.
