About the role
DV’s business-to-business (B2B) platforms, which encompass a suite of robust, self-service tools accessible to customers worldwide, allow users to independently perform a variety of workflows ranging from activation to reporting.
As a Technical Writer, you will produce and maintain client-facing documentation to support self-service workflows for clients globally. The documentation types range from glossaries and guides for reporting, how-to guides for self-service workflows, and documentation on utilizing DV services within third-party platforms. This role closely collaborates across Product Managers and business-facing teams including Account Management, Implementation and Sales Engineering teams within DV. As an ideal candidate, you have experience in knowledge management and bring with you learnings and best practices so that you can hit the ground running.
This role is based in NYC and sits within the Customer Experience team.
What you’ll do :
- Communicate complex materials and concepts in an appealing and effective manner to both internal and external users of varying technical knowledge, in the DV voice.
- Write, publish and maintain high-quality help content including user guides, online help, analytics glossaries, training materials and product release notes.
- Collaborate with Account Managers, Implementation Managers, Product Managers and Marketing, at peer level as support to senior team, to produce effective documentation and messaging and promote new features.

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on a number of non-discriminating factors, including qualifications for the role, level, skills, experience, location, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at DV. The estimated salary range for this role based on the qualifications set forth in the job description is between [$72,000-156,000]. This role will also be eligible for bonus / commission (as applicable), equity, and benefits. The range above is for the expectations as laid out in the job description; however, we are often open to a wide variety of profiles, and recognize that the person we hire may be more or less experienced than this job description as posted.
