We are now looking to fill the role of HRBP to join our team and support the rapidly growing need of the company. The candidate will work directly and closely with the internal HR team to ensure success to meet department goals, as well as the broader company goals and strategic direction.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Strategic Partnership & Risk Management
- Partner with restaurant leadership to integrate employee feedback into operational improvements
- Provide guidance on creating positive workplace environments that translate to exceptional guest experiences
- Help balance our traditional values with evolving workplace expectations
- Ensure fair and consistent application of policies across all locations
- Partner with leadership on creating a safe, respectful workplace culture
- Maintain appropriate documentation while handling sensitive matters with discretion
- Serve as the primary employee advocate and trusted HR across all locations, embodying the warmth and authenticity that defines Dough Zone USA
- Lead thorough and impartial workplace investigations for employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent resolution processes
- Develop and implement comprehensive employee experience strategies that honor our cultural heritage while fostering inclusion and belonging
- Create recognition programs that celebrate our diverse workforce and their contributions to our success
- Design and implement wellness initiatives that support the unique needs of restaurant employees
- Conduct regular interviews and develop retention strategies to reduce turnover
- Build communication channels that effectively bridge between leadership and frontline staff across multiple locations
- Lead EM strategies that prioritize cultural fit and service excellence
- Elevate onboarding experiences that immerse new hires in our unique story and values
- Guide performance management processes that emphasize both technical skills and cultural contributions
- Execute HR programs with a focus on employee wellbeing and satisfaction
- Monitor employee engagement metrics and develop action plans to address areas of concern
- Recommend improvements based on employee feedback and industry best practices
Requirements, Skills, and Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS), minimum four years of human resources experience preferred.
- Proven experience as an HR Manager, HRBP, or similar HR leadership role.
- Proficiency in Chinese is strongly preferred.
- PHR or similar HR certification preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Food/Restaurant Industry experience is highly preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment
