Position Overview
We seek a motivated Corporate Transactional Associate Attorney with 1-3 years of experience to join our dynamic and collaborative Business Law team. In this role, you will work closely with experienced attorneys on diverse corporate and transactional matters, including business formation, mergers and acquisitions, financing, contract drafting and negotiation, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in forming and maintaining corporate entities, including LLCs, corporations, and partnerships
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, shareholder agreements, and other business documents
- Perform legal research and prepare memoranda on complex corporate and transactional issues
- Support senior attorneys with mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate restructuring transactions
- Work directly with clients, demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Collaborate across practice areas to provide comprehensive legal services
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice in Minnesota
- Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Demonstrated interest or experience in corporate / transactional work
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Competitive salary ($85,000–$105,000), commensurate with experience
