Thom Child & Family Services located in Lowell, MA is seeking a Early Intervention Parenting Partnerships (EIPP) Coordinator to join their team.
As an Early Intervention Parenting Partnerships (EIPP) Coordinator, you have responsibility for management, oversight, and staff supervision of the EI Parenting Partnerships Program within the larger context of the Early Intervention Program and you will be responsible for providing home and community-based early intervention services to infants and toddlers who have or are at risk for developmental delays and their families in both their homes and community settings. You will partner with parents/caregivers to ensure service delivery is individualized, meaningful for the family, and grounded in evidence-based practice. Through this collaborative process, you ensure families’ priorities, needs, culture, and values are prioritized.

Qualifications: (The following disciplines are eligible to apply)
- Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) by the Massachusetts Registry of Social Work, or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with a minimum of three years of experience in family counseling with parents of infants or
- A Bachelor of Nursing with clinical experience in prenatal, newborn, infancy or maternal services or
- Current licensure as Registered Nutrionist/Dietician with a Bachelor of Nutrition with clinical experience working with pregnant and postpartum parents, infants and their families.
This position requires that candidate demonstrates an understanding of current Early Intervention and Partnerships financing modalities, regulations, and contractual obligations.
Job Elements:
Supervision/Oversight:
- Participates in Orientation of staff.
- Provides reflective supervision to team members around clinical issues related to work with pregnant mothers, infants, and families. Arranges regularly scheduled supervision meetings with team members.
- Works with team to develop sense of cohesion, teamwork, mutual support including resolution of conflict as needed.
- Works with team to improve ability to give and receive feedback.
- Assists team members with time management, productivity, and scheduling issues.
- Uses computer technology for purposes of program management including oversight of database management:
- Tracking referrals
- Retrieving outcome information
- Returning electronic data to the Department of Public Health
Management /Coordination:
- Coordinates distribution of referrals to appropriate home visitors
- Participates in the development and implementation of program policy and procedures.
- Participates in the interviewing/hiring process of the EI Parenting Partnerships staff.
- Meets with the Early Intervention Program Director and other program coordinators/team leaders regularly to advance overall program quality assurance, fiscal responsibility, program, and staff development.
Outreach/Intake/Case Disposition:
- Oversees EI Parenting Partnerships intake process, with sensitivity and efficiency.
- Organizes case disposition/assignment process including communicating necessary information to staff.
Collaboration/Outreach:
- Participates in local area perinatal and early childhood health advisory committee(s).
- Participates in the development and implementation of Outreach activities, focusing on specific target populations including Hospitals, Substance Abuse Treatment Programs, Immigrant and Refugee Organizations, Homeless Shelters, etc.
- Helps to prepare oral and written materials for community distribution.

- CPR/First Aid Certification or obtained within the first 6 months of hire.
Supervision:
The Early Intervention Program Director is responsible for supervising the EIPP Coordinator. This supervision may be either individual or as part of a group and may be of a clinical, management and/or administrative nature. Supervision will occur within the context of a formalized relationship that provides frequent and regularly scheduled individual or group personal contact with the supervisor.
