About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Douglas County P.U.D as a Facilities Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for managing building and grounds maintenance for our East Wenatchee Headquarters location, as well as coordinating and overseeing facilities-related construction projects.
You will provide direct supervision of facilities and grounds staff and contractors, ensuring that all work is performed in a safe and timely manner. Additionally, you will coordinate with the Purchasing Department to obtain and review price quotes for the procurement of parts, services, and labor for projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating, overseeing, and managing repair and maintenance work performed by District staff and/or contractors.
- Coordinating construction projects and managing related contracts for East Wenatchee headquarters facilities, Bridgeport facilities, and other remote locations.
- Managing, directing, and evaluating facilities personnel and managing contractor relationships.
