Key Responsibilities:
As a Facilities Maintenance Specialist, your primary duties will include:
• Cleaning and maintaining classrooms, gymnasiums, cafeterias, hallways, stairs, office space, and restrooms.
• Emptying trash and garbage containers regularly.
• Performing minor repairs, painting, plumbing, electrical work, and other maintenance activities as needed.
• Notifying the principal of any major repair requirements.
• Clearing snow and debris from sidewalks and other areas as required.
Requirements and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you must have:
• The ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• The ability to write routine reports and communicate effectively with colleagues.
• Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to apply concepts to practical situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment:
