**About the Job**
Douglas County P.U.D is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Seasonal Fish Counter.
In this position, you'll be responsible for monitoring fish passage at Wells Dam, using video display monitors to record individual fish and compile hourly and daily totals for reporting purposes.
**Responsibilities**
- Monitor fish passage at Wells Dam using video display monitors
- Record individual fish and compile hourly and daily totals for reporting purposes
- Work under the supervision of the Natural Resources Supervisor or designee
- Collaborate with other fish counters and Natural Resources department staff
**Requirements**
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior fish counting experience or fish identification education (special consideration will be given)
- Basic computer skills, including the ability to use Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook and Excel)
- Ability to accurately identify and count fish
- Ability to concentrate on computer screens for long periods of time
- Ability to work cooperatively with others
