Job Description
Plays a crucial role in supporting staff members throughout the duration of the 2024 bond which is expected to be 4-4.5 years. Supports DCSD teachers and staff directly and indirectly impacted by bond initiatives, including the pairing of schools in Highlands Ranch and the staffing of new schools in Sterling Ranch and RidgeGate.
For the school pairing process, serves as a district-level contact for staff, helping to ensure a maximum amount of support for those impacted, working proactively to address concerns, and helping to ensure suitability of position for each impacted employee.
For support of new employees and/or those needing additional professional support, works alongside building and department leadership and complements their processes to help ensure every employee in DCSD has a chance to flourish in their role.
Develops and promotes good community relations between district and community clientele.

Responsibilities
Overall:
- Communication: Maintain open and transparent communication with staff, school administrators, and other stakeholders.
- Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with staff at all levels to foster trust and collaboration.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
- District Point of Contact: Serve as a district-level contact for staff regarding the pairing process.
- Staff Support: Provide comprehensive, long-term District-level support to impacted staff, addressing concerns and ensuring a smooth transition.
- Placement Coordination: Collaborate with school administration to help ensure appropriate and mutually beneficial staff hiring into newly paired schools and across the district.
- Issue Resolution: Help to anticipate and address challenges or conflicts related to the pairing process.
- Onboarding and Integration: Help with existing district-wide initiatives to welcome and integrate new DCSD employees along with assisting in the development of complementary processes.
- Mentorship and Guidance: Help facilitate mentorship programs and provide resources to help new employees acclimate to their roles.
- Supports: Coordinate with supervisors regarding appropriate and timely supports for existing employees who may need them.
- Collaboration with Leadership: Work closely with building and department leaders and staff to align support efforts and ensure a positive employee experience.
- Continuous Improvement: Help gather feedback and assess the effectiveness of employee support programs, making adjustments as needed.
