About the Position
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Administrative Associate. This is an exciting opportunity to provide multi-faceted administrative support functions and customer service to the Child Support Department.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various administrative tasks, including data entry, record-keeping, and communication with clients. They will also provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Child Support Department, including data entry, record-keeping, and document preparation.
- Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and provide information to clients regarding child support procedures.
- Perform case interface initiation functions, including accessing state reports and verifying participant status.
- Review CWW to determine participant and case eligibility for child support or updates.
- Assist with department applications and other related duties.
- Sort and file written materials/records.
- Maintain inventory of office supplies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
- At least one year of experience in an administrative role, preferably in a government agency.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other software applications.
