- Proficiency in using grant reporting platforms is required.
- Experience in managing multiple, complex projects, particularly in educational or nonprofit settings, and familiarity with compliance regulations for state and federal reporting is essential.
- Developed project management skills, including the ability to set goals, manage timelines, and coordinate diverse teams, is highly desired.
- Experience in the interpretation of complex rules, procedures, and/or requirements
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in performing all assigned tasks
- Must be self-motivated, punctual, reliable, organized, and flexible
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
- U.S. citizen, national or lawful permanent resident
- Ability to successfully pass a drug test (random or otherwise)
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check
- Provides oversight and full lifecycle management of incoming grants. This includes seeking and applying for new grants, milestone tracking/payments, reconciliations, budget planning and audit readiness.
- Attend Grant Committee Meetings
- Provides input into the ongoing enhancement of grant processes to ensure compliance with Phoenix’s policies, utilizing industry insights and benchmarking data.
- Creates reports for grants tracking including status reports, metrics and dashboards.
- Works with the finance department to develop and track budgets; participate in annual budget and forecasts.
- Support internal teams with grants, programs, and activities to establish goals, guide actions, and evaluate outcomes.
- Provide technical assistance to internal staff as well as district partners regarding grant data and reporting.
- Responsible for meeting deadlines, anticipate needs, prioritize multiple tasks, follow through, and work independently without supervision while handling frequent interruptions and rapidly shifting priorities
- Demonstrate ability to manage stressful situations with tact and diplomacy and to use sound judgment and initiative, particularly as it relates to handling sensitive and/or confidential information.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Regularly required, in an 8-hour day, to sit for 3-8 hours; stand/walk/move around for 1-4 hours; drive 1-3 hours.

Full-Time Grant Manager - Phoenix School of Roseburg03/19/2025
The Grant Manager position supports the Administrative Team by conducting a broad range of tasks. Our organization manages many funding sources, each requiring separate monitoring and reporting. This position will support our school mission by facilitating program activities, monitoring budgets, and reporting to internal and external partners. Responsibilities include regular contact with staff, students, and the public which must be conducted with the utmost discretion and professionalism. This position requires high standards for their work products, demonstrated clerical skills, and a keen sense of time management to keep grants on track and well-coordinated. This position will be supervised by the Executive Director and will work alongside the Business Manager and School Principal.
Opening: Full-Time Salaried. Annual contract July 1 through June 30—215 contract days per year (2024-25 contract will be prorated based on start date).
