- Implement Pre-Employment Transition Services for students in a series of training sessions.
- Orient students to the work experience program.
- Facilitate trainings in workforce development to support student employability skills.
- Assess student employment goals and facilitate coordination with employment partners to reach those goals.
- Visit and contact employers to build and maintain relationships.
- Maintain continuous contact with businesses, checking in on student work experience progress and debriefing with student participants and businesses frequently.
- Provide feedback to students based on employer evaluations.
- Conduct business participant recruitment and end of program exit interviews with business representatives and student participants.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel to and from work experience locations in the Douglas ESD service area.
- Associate’s degree preferred or minimum 2 years of experience in a school setting supporting students that experience disabilities work experience is preferred.

Temporary Worksite Coordinators – Douglas ESD04/24/2025
Douglas ESD is accepting applications for two (2) Temporary Worksite Coordinators for our Education Services department. These are At Will positions.
SALARY: $26.13 per hour - These positions do not qualify for benefits.
HOURS: 4 -5 days per week, 7 hours per day from June 4th to July 14th, 2025.
POSITION OVERVIEW
This position is designed to support and facilitate worksite locations for the summer internship program. As a Worksite Coordinator you will be supporting Oregon’s mission as an Employment First state as a liaison between students and businesses for this summer work experience program. You will also be working with students that experience disabilities to create inclusive and diverse work environments in our region.
