Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Associate Attorney at Douglas Family Law Group, PLLC. As an Associate Attorney, you will be responsible for providing sound, proactive legal advice, conducting legal research, drafting legal documents (complaints, motions, answers, etc.), negotiating settlements, meeting with clients, and representing clients in court. The Associate will work closely with Elizabeth A. Douglas and the rest of the team to provide strong legal representation and support to clients in divorce, family law, and fertility law matters. This is a unique opportunity to work in a boutique law firm and trail-blaze in New York Fertility Law.
Compensation
Annual salary:
- $120k – 180k, commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Qualifications
Our ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of three years experience, practicing exclusively in divorce and family law;
- Expertise in Family and Matrimonial Law
- Proactive approach to litigation
- Ability to work-up a complex file
- Belief in and desire to provide white glove service to clients
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to be a self-starter
- Admission to practice in New York (Additional admittance in Connecticut is a plus)
