Marina Dock Hand

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Marina Dock Hand. As a Dock Hand, you will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of our marina, ensuring the smooth and safe docking of boats and providing excellent customer service to our patrons.

Responsibilities:
- Assist boaters with docking and undocking their vessels
- Secure boats to docks using appropriate lines and fenders
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness of the docks and surrounding areas
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and assisting boaters with their needs
- Assist with fueling boats and maintaining fuel dock operations
- Perform general maintenance tasks such as cleaning, painting, and repairing dock facilities
- Assist with boat launching and retrieval using proper equipment
- Maintain inventory of supplies and report any shortages or damages
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations

Requirements:
- Mechanical knowledge is preferred but not required
- Ability to work in an outdoor environment in various weather conditions
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with customers
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor as needed

Qualifications

• Mechanical knowledge and skills is prefer but not required
• Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and customer interaction
• Ability to operate various dock equipment safely and efficiently
• Experience in marine environments or related fields is a plus
• Commitment to safety protocols and procedures

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $13.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
• Weekends only
