What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Marina Crew position at Lakeside Marina?

If so, we have the job for you! Lakeside Marina has been family owned and operated for nearly 30 years.
We’re looking for seasonal employees that have availability evenings, weekends, and spring/summer holidays.
25-40 hours per week
Starting pay is $10/hour PLUS tips
Responsibilities

- Must be 18 years old
Crew Member responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Customer service, ship store sales, fueling boats, assisting with boat rentals, pressure washing, routine daily maintenance and cleanliness of boats, marina, and facilities, inspect and report on condition of rental fleet, opening prep and closing cleanup, answering phone, as well as other tasks as assigned. As a crew, everyone does everything- we are literally all hands on deck.
Boating experience and general knowledge of the lake are helpful, but not required.
There are only 4 to 5 months of our on-season , so weekends and holidays are required! Our big summer holidays are Memorial Day weekend, Father's day weekend, July 4th (the week before and after), and Labor Day weekend. Holidays are all hands on deck for all of the crew.
Training will begin in April. Our season starts as soon as the weather breaks in April and lasts through the end of September (possibly mid October).
- Must have valid drivers license and have reliable transportation to and from work
- Must be dependable, pay close attention to detail, have strong ability to multi-task, follow directions, and be willing to learn.
- Must have a good attitude
- Must be able to tolerate working in hot, summer weather
- Any Tennessee resident born after January 1, 1989, must show the TWRA-issued wallet Boating Safety Education Certificate as proof of successful completion of the TWRA Boating Safety exam.
