Summary
Responsible for preparing products for shipment, completing final assembly of products and painting packaging of products. This individual is responsible for helping to ensure timely deliveries and a quality product.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Extensive use of tools associated with the assigned job task.
- Pay attention to quality, and help ensure that the customer receives only the highest quality product.
- Establish good communications, and working rapport with supervisors, engineers and manufacturing personnel to ensure a high level of customer service is delivered.
- Understand Douglas products and the mechanical applications in which they are used.
- Read a tape measure and understand engineered drawings.
- Lift 50 pounds.
- Maintain a clean, and organized work area.
- Operate a forklift.
- Stand continuously for an 8-hour shift with overtime as required by company.
- Apply verbal and written communication skills to communicate important issues to management and co-workers.
- Continually exhibit the qualities of trustworthiness, a strong work ethic, and positive attitude.
- Manage and organize own work while remaining a team player and handling other assigned tasks as required by the company.
- Perform extra assignments in other areas and related task assignments in the work area.
- Regular, consistent attendance is a requirement. Overtime as required by the company.
- Available to work overtime as required by the company.
