Dousman Transport seeks a self-driven individual to work independently as a diesel mechanic. The successful applicant must have a comprehensive diesel and electronics background.
Qualifications
- Prior school bus experience (highly desirable)
- Vocational or technical degree (highly desirable)
- WI state driver’s license with safe driving record.
- Strong mechanical / troubleshooting aptitude
- Familiarity with engine / transmission diagnostic software
- Major / minor engine repairs, transmissions, brakes, compressors, fuel systems, wheelchair lifts, etc.
- Complete work orders accurately; maintain service records, including repairs completed and parts used
- Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections at required intervals
- A CDL Class B a plus
- Respond to road calls, as necessary
- Other responsibilities, as required
- Pay : $62.500K - $85K annually
