Looking to make a splash in your next career? Poolblu Water Worldwide, a leading global provider of services and supplies to recreational water markets, is seeking a Customer Service Representative to work at our Lake Geneva Headquarters.
Position Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Serve as first point of contact to inquiries about the company’s products and services.
- Answer and manage incoming calls, emails, and/or voicemails.
- Build and maintain strong, positive customer relationships to ensure long-term customer satisfaction.
- Own a customer's inquiry/request until a solution is presented and performed.
- Work closely with all Poolblu team members to maintain open lines of communication on new products, services, and customer expectations.
- Manage customer compliments and complaints, provide solutions/alternatives, and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Enter new accounts/customers, quotations, and sales/service orders unassisted and in a timely manner to WOW our customers using company software.
- Monitor order workflow through the company’s various statuses
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products or solutions.
- Responsible for talking with prospective clients who call in to learn about our services, educate them, and then SIGN THEM UP!
- Communicate quotes, order status changes, and schedule updates to customers using email, text, system updates, and telephone.
- Prepare invoices for products and services rendered.
- Invoice management.
- Prioritize and coordinate the scheduling of services.
- Coordinate delays in schedule with customers and service technicians
- Organize workloads to meet deadlines.
- Adaptability to accept change when needed.
- Knowledge of the service industry is preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
This position works under moderate supervision and is expected to perform the activities and responsibilities of the position on their own initiative with infrequent review and assistance by the manager. This position requires strong problem-solving skills; the ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment. The work of this position requires a pleasant personality, ability to get along with others, poise, flexibility, dependability, willingness to pitch in where needed, and solid, clear communication skills. The person in this position must be able to work at varying speeds and degrees of intensity without becoming flustered and ineffective. The position requires an individual with the initiative to complete work assignments on their own and be able to recognize and prioritize additional tasks that must be performed as well.
Minimum Qualifications Required for this position:
- Previous experience in customer support, client services, sales, or a related field. (In an office/call center environment)
- A pleasant solution-orientated personality.
- Basic computer skills/experience working with Microsoft Office applications, (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), email (Outlook), and Browser-based applications.
- Able to concentrate on multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
- Customer-focused with an ability to adapt/respond to different types of customers
- A desire to become an expert in recreational water products, services, and repairs!
- Pool knowledge (preferred but not required)
