- casual openings on all shifts
Casual employees must commit to working 16 weekend hours a month and 1 holiday per year.
Dove Healthcare - West Eau Claire is seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and empathetic registered nurse or licensed practical nurse to join our palliative care team. If you are passionate about making a meaningful difference in a patient's life during their most vulnerable moments, this could be the perfect role for you!
As a palliative care nurse you will:
- support patients and their families during the end-of-life journey
- provide compassionate care that addresses physical, emotional and spiritual needs of patients and their families
- oversee all aspects of patient care through directing and supervising nurses, nurse technicians, medication aides, and certified nursing assistant (CNA) team members
- provide direct patient care through medication and treatment administration
- help provide a safe, comfortable, and home-like environment
- other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- current licensure in the State of Wisconsin as a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse
- degree from an accredited school of nursing
- ability to understand and carry out technical oral and written instructions
- excellent time management skills
- ability to accept and give directions
- work well in a team environment
- a desire to make a difference in people's lives
