DoveLewis Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Hospital is expanding our Client Experience Team in preparation for opening our second building in February.
In person interviews with same day offers will be happening on the following dates:
Friday, January 3rd from Noon - 8pm
Saturday, January 11th from 10am - 6pm
Saturday, January 18th from 10am - 6pm
About this position:
These roles involve supporting pet owners in challenging situations by providing exceptional service both in person and over the phone.
As a member of the Client Experience Team, you are the first point of contact for clients and their pets, whether they are arriving for an emergency or an appointment. This role combines strong client-facing service with administrative duties, ensuring a seamless and supportive experience for pet owners during what can often be stressful situations.
Our Client Experience Team works throughout the hospital, helping to facilitate client communication and administrative tasks. As a member of the Client Experience Team, you will be cross trained in all our departments, to ensure your ability to provide excellent client service regardless of your assigned location. In the ER, our Client Experience Team will primarily focus on quick response triaging and providing patient updates to our clients. At the Appointment based desks, our Client Experience Team focuses on long-term relationship development for patients and clients.

Wage:
$19.95 - $22.00/hour, depending on education, experience and . Additional compensation available for applicable shifts.
Schedule:
The Client Experience Team is hiring for 3/4 rotating schedules, which means you work three 10-hour shifts one week and four 10-hour shifts the next, rotating back and forth. That averages 35 hours per week for full-time and gives you 3-4 days off every week! As a 24/7 hospital, all available positions require weekend and holiday availability. Most staff work one weekend day per week.

What We’re Looking for in a Candidate:
- Experience:
- Ability to accurately handle cash transactions.
- Ability to accurately handle cash transactions.
- Experience in medical scheduling in a veterinary setting is preferred.
- Experience supporting a wide variety of clients or customers in challenging situations.
- Veterinary or medical field experience is a plus.
- Skills & Qualifications:
- At least one year of in-person, fast-paced customer service experience is required
- Strong proficiency with desktop computers and the ability to learn veterinary software.
- Ability to type at least 45 words per minute while engaging with clients.
- Comfortable handling multi-line phone systems while managing in-person interactions.
- High attention to detail, with the ability to multi-task and remain composed in busy environments.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a larger team.
- A genuine love and respect for animals is essential.

- High School Diploma or equivalent
