Dover Precision Components is hiring a Continuous Improvement Specialist for our Waukesha Bearings brand. Waukesha Bearings is a leading designer and manufacturer of hydrodynamic fluid film bearings, active magnetic bearing systems and seals for high-performing turbomachinery and rotating equipment in oil & gas, power generation, marine and industrial markets.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
This is an excellent growth opportunity with mentorship and on- the- job training available ! In this role, you will contribute to lean manufacturing continuous improvement initiatives with the opportunity to become part of the plant leadership team. Bring background in or learn to :
- Champion continuous improvements by facilitating established operational excellence program under the guidance of Plant Manager and Corporate Continuous Improvement Manager.
- Problem-solve by facilitating analysis of the focus situation that accurately describes the issues and provide detailed map of desired situation.
- Prepare, assist, and provide training to employees on continuous improvement efforts and lean manufacturing initiatives. Provide support to the production staff to ensure that implemented lean principles are understood.
- Track and monitor progress of the productivity projects.
- Collaborate with other stakeholders to enhance productivity.
