What You'll Do:
We're seeking a skilled Machinist to set up and operate manual machines, including mills and lathes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Reading and processing sheets, blueprints, and sketches of parts to determine machining requirements
- Interpreting work instructions and identifying the proper tooling for operations
- Calculating feeds and speeds for various materials and understanding machine capabilities
- Performing quality inspections and adhering to our policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Prior experience with precision inspection equipment and proven ability to hold tight tolerances
- Knowledge of OKUMA Space Turn LB3000 EX2 Lathes and ability to intuitively understand tooling and machinery capabilities
- One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training
