This exempt position earns a competitive minimum starting annual pay, based on experience of $72k. Programmer

What You'll Do:

• Develop, customize, and maintain software applications in collaboration with a Programmer II
• Oversee the installation and implementation of customized application products
• Troubleshoot application issues and log problems, including within the Symitar core system
• Document programming procedures, coding, and user instructions
• Develop reports and forms to support business functions
• Assist with encrypting secure data and opening secured files
• Provide support for IT Analysts, Computer Operators, and other department staff
• Evaluate software specifications for potential purchases
• Stay current with programming languages and technology trends
• Offer after-hours IT and network support when needed

What You Bring:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Application Systems, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience: 1-3 years of application programming experience required
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in application programming languages and methodologies
  • Knowledge of IT operations, network, and server administration
  • Familiarity with credit union products, services, and regulations is a plus
  • Experience with PowerOn Programming and the Symitar Core System preferred

Working Conditions:

• Technology-driven environment with frequent collaboration
• On-call support may be required

• Position has the ability to work hybrid, with the expectation of a minimum of 3 days onsite per week.
