ABOUT THE ROLE:
As our Sales & Marketing Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind occupancy growth, brand presence, and strategic marketing initiatives across all care levels and revenue-generating services. Your work will directly impact the lives of our residents and families while positioning Dow Rummel as the trusted name in senior living.

Hours & Schedule
This is a full-time, salaried role. Primary hours are Monday–Friday, with some flexibility required for events and a rotating weekend MOD schedule.
Your Background & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field
- 3 years of sales management and digital marketing experience
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, CRM platforms, and data tools
- Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills
- A collaborative, customer-focused mindset with the drive to meet goals and make an impact
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
Sales & Revenue Leadership
- Achieve and exceed occupancy goals across Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, Skilled Nursing, and other services
- Drive and execute sales strategies, lead Independent Living tours, manage the waitlist, and guide the admissions process
- Oversee referral generation and outreach, while mentoring the Admissions Coordinator
Marketing & Brand Development
- Partner with the Executive Director of Sales & Marketing to create and carry out impactful marketing campaigns
- Lead digital lead generation, email marketing, reputation management, and website strategy
- Supervise the Marketing Coordinator to ensure consistent, compelling messaging and branding across all platforms
Strategic Thinking & Execution
- Analyze performance data, marketing ROI, and revenue streams to make data-driven decisions
- Collaborate cross-functionally with departments to align internal communication and drive engagement
Relationship Building & Visibility
- Engage with community partners, vendors, and referral sources to strengthen DRV’s presence in the Sioux Falls area and beyond
Leadership with Heart
- Model accountability, integrity, and a commitment to excellence
- Serve as Manager on Duty on a rotating basis
