We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery RN to join our team at Down East Community Hospital. As a member of our OB unit, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and families, providing expert care and support throughout the childbirth process.
Responsibilities:
- Assessing and addressing the physical and emotional needs of patients and their families
- Developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
- Collaborating with healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Providing education and support to patients and their families regarding childbirth, parenting, and healthy lifestyles
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the state of Maine
- One year minimum of acute care experience as an RN
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Successfully completes general nursing and unit orientation
