What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Mill Operator position at Downing Manufacturing, Inc.?
We are looking for a Full-time CNC Mill Operator. Our hours of Operation are from 7 am -3:30 pm - Monday through Friday. We are paid weekly. Experience in this field is a plus, but not required. (training will be provided)
General knowledge of the Manufacturing/steel industry is a plus, but again, not required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate CNC machine to manufacture parts per drawings and/or instructions.
- Knowledge of how to program CNC Machine preferred
- Inspects and visualizes all parts so that specified dimensions are met using micrometers, calipers or other inspection devices.
- Works efficiently using correct tooling for the job and meets production quotas.
- Able to change inserts and end mills.
- Maintain a clean work area and keep machines clean.
- Show ability and desire to learn
- Be able to identify and complete all documentation per part
- Work as a team.
- Keep a good work attitude
- Other duties as assigned
