About the Role:

Downtown Ford is seeking a Sales Business Development Representative to join our team. This position is responsible for handling incoming customer inquiries, scheduling appointments, and assisting with lead management to support our sales and service departments. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has strong communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls in a friendly and professional manner and direct them accordingly.
  • Greet showroom visitors and assist with inquiries.
  • Process and coordinate all sales inquiries, showroom floor requests, service requests, and internet leads.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments for sales and service.
  • Log all customer interactions in the CRM and follow up as needed.
  • Contact customers to schedule visits, test drives, or service appointments.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer communications and appointments.
  • Generate customer follow-up through calls, emails, and mailers based on contact timelines.
  • Ensure all customer inquiries receive a response within 15 minutes.
  • Assist with marketing initiatives and dealership promotions by contacting customers.
  • Ensure every customer receives a welcoming video from the dealership.
  • Notify appropriate departments of same-day appointments.
  • Forward customer concerns to the appropriate department manager and follow up as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Required:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Strong communication, administrative, and organizational skills
  • Professional dress, speech, and demeanor
  • Ability to work Saturdays, evenings, and some holidays
  • Preferred:
  • Experience in a call center or customer service role
  • Knowledge of the automotive industry
  • 60 WPM typing speed
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
