About the Position:
Doyle Auctioneers & Appraisers in New York City is seeking an experienced product photographer to create high-resolution digital images of auction property for use in online catalogues, marketing and promotional materials. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, organized, able to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. The position plays a crucial role in developing and maintaining technical standards with respect to image production and assesses procedures to create engaging visual assets in alignment with the Photography, Marketing and Specialists departments. Excellent opportunity for an individual with interest in the Arts. This full-time position has an annual salary range of $60,000-$80,000.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of professional photography experience, preferably in a product studio
- Proficiency/expertise in DSLR and strobe lighting
- Experience in lighting and styling all types of products including tabletop, silver, glass, bronze, porcelain, paintings and prints
- Proficient in Capture One, Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom for Mac
- Familiarity with workflow standards and maintaining proper file naming
- Proactive problem-solving, both technical and creative
- Must be able to work well in a collaborative environment
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
