QUALIFICATIONS :
Ability to prioritize and multi task
Excellent Communication Skills
Ability to work productively as a team
- PURPOSE OF JOB : Identify, analyze and resolve unpaid patient balances.
- ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Initiates collection activity on unpaid patient balances.
- Provide financial education.
- Determine charity care eligibility for patient financial assistance applications
- Prepare/Review/transfer accounts to appropriate collection agency
- Medicaid Billing.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Education: High School or equivalent is required some college preferred.
- Experience: Hospital/Insurance or previous collection experience preferred.
- Other Skills: Excellent Customer Service Skills
