Job Description : PURPOSE OF JOB : The Creative Manager is responsible for conceptualizing, producing, and promoting high-quality content for print, web, and visual media to effectively communicate the mission and vision of Doylestown Health Foundation (DHF). In this capacity, s / he is responsible for project management of Doylestown Health Foundation's print, web, and visual media.The Creative Manager directly supervises and provides strategic direction to the Communications Coordinator, who supports development communications, events, and social media platforms.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : Provide clear, concise, engaging copy and creative solutions in Graphic Design, Print Materials, Direct Mail, E-Communications, Web, Advertising, and Video to achieve brand and fundraising objectivesSupport Sr. Creative Director as well as members of the Advancement team with writing, design, creative conceptualization, and execution to ensure communication strategy and goals are met efficiently and effectivelyWrite copy, design, and oversee all aspects of Doylestown Health Foundation's Website,E-Communications, Advertising, Visual and Social Media, and Media RelationsExecute effective written communications to meet the strategic and tactical goals of Doylestown Health and Doylestown Health Foundation.Job Qualifications : V. QUALIFICATIONS : Education : Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Communications, Journalism / Professional Writing, Graphic Design, or Marketing. Combination of education, work experience and skills will be considered.Experience : A minimum of five years of related experience is required. Extensive knowledge and experience in copywriting, editing, and Associated Press (AP) style. Use of best practices in print and web design, social media, and communications is essential. Direct experience in philanthropic communications for nonprofit organizations and the healthcare industry is preferred.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator) is required. Knowledge of WordPress content management system and SEO strategies a plus.Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills a must. Graphic Design skills required. Working knowledge of photography and videography, especially editing, a plus.Excellent project management skills required. Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to act as a strong team player; adaptability and flexibility; ability to work independently; good interpersonal skills; attention to detail are all a must.Excellent time management skills required. Demonstrated ability to lead projects from concept to completion within aggressive timelines; flexibility and capability of handling both long-term projects and urgent matters in an effective manner.Must have professional, collaborative demeanor and use excellent judgment in working with executive-level faculty / staff / donors / board / committees / volunteers.Working knowledge of Blackbaud products, especially Raiser's Edge and Online Express (OEX), preferred. Experience with social media management software such as Sprout Social, and e-mail marketing systems such as Constant Contact a plus. Familiarity with content management systems and digital asset management a plus.
