Job Description:
- PURPOSE OF JOB: Responsible for timely posting and reconciliation of daily cash receipts receive from Third Party Payers and patients.
- ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Posting and reconciling payments received from Third Party Payers and patients. Including reviewing all 835 Remittance batches for zero payments and payment retractions and making appropriate corrections to these entries.
- Scanning of remittance advice and correspondence from Third Party Payers.
- Prepare and sort mail received.
4. Receptionist for PFS department and Liaison for other departments for cash posting.
- Report problems/issues to Manager.
- Carry out responsibilities with an adherence to professional standards, a commitment to performance improvement, and an interest in professional growth and development.
Job Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent education required.
- Experience: 1 year Electronic payment posting experience required
1 year PC experience, using window technology required
1 year Customer Service experience preferred
- Other Skills: Excellent Customer Skills
Ability to problem solve independently
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
Good Math and analytical skills
Ability to work productively as part of a team.
