JOB TITLE: HVAC Service Coordinator
Reports To: Service Manager Salary Range: $73,000 to $75,000 per year
Summary:
The HVAC Service Coordinator is a full time, office-based position working within the service department. The Service Coordinator will quote service work opportunities, order parts and equipment, and issue purchase orders for awarded work. The successful applicant will have several years’ experience in the field and be cognizant of what is involved to procure all the necessary resources to complete service and project work. This is an excellent opportunity for an HVAC service technician with the necessary experience to “retire” from the field and work within an office environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create service quotes either based off of opportunities identified by technicians on HVAC PM’s or service calls or requests from customers.
Email service reports to the customers, informing them of the results of the service visits.
Follow up with customers on delivered service quotes and adjust as needed.
Schedule “approved” service appointments with customers.
Create and set up calendar invites for technicians.
Work with Dispatch on setting up service tickets.
Coordinate the ordering and delivery of parts as needed for awarded service projects.
Receive deliveries and oversee the condition of the warehouse areas.
Act as the liaison between field technicians and customers, should an issue occur and resolution is needed.
Work with the service manager to manage the warehouse and technicians inventory.
Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested.
Complete additional items as directed to by the Service Manager and or Regional Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
Seven to ten years related experience within the HVAC field. HVAC experience is a must.
Commercial HVAC system experience is necessary and critical environment and data center, and electrical experience is preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all levels of an organization.
Strong skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.
Knowledge of Microsoft Applications including Excel, Word, Project and Outlook.
Experience with Acumatica (internal ERP system) is a plus.
