Job Description

As an Associate ITSM Administrator, your primary goal is to assist in the effective delivery and management of our IT services. In this entry-level position, you will help maintain the integrity and efficiency of IT operations, supporting the quality of technical support, service delivery, and overall IT service management processes.

In addition to providing ongoing support and enhancement of our core Service Delivery systems, you will also help administer and maintain a variety of regional service delivery tools—such as soft phone systems, alert monitoring platforms, and password management solutions—under the guidance of senior team members. By performing essential administrative tasks and collaborating closely with the ITSM team, you will play a key role in ensuring our IT services run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Atlassian Jira Administration: Assist in the daily administration, configuration, and optimization of Jira under the guidance of senior team members. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, recommend improvements, and ensure Jira functionalities align with business needs
  • Process Optimization: Contribute to identifying opportunities for process enhancement within IT service delivery. Support efforts to streamline workflows, reduce bottlenecks, and apply best practices to improve overall operational efficiency
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams, business units, and external vendors to understand their requirements. Help ensure IT services and solutions consistently meet organizational objectives
  • Incident and Problem Management: Assist in monitoring and maintaining the tools that support incident and problem management processes. Support effective communication during major incidents, help track problem tickets and participate in tool and process optimizations
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Help build and maintain dashboards and reports to measure ITSM process effectiveness. Collaborate with the team to track key performance indicators and highlight areas for improvement
  • Audit Support: Contribute to meeting audit requirements (corporate, certification, or customer-led) by preparing necessary data and documentation. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of information, supporting the team throughout the audit process

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Management Information Systems, or a related field
    • Equivalent experience (e.g., internships, co-op programs, certifications) may be considered
  • ITIL Awareness:
    • Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITIL) concepts preferred.
    • Willingness to obtain ITIL Foundation certification within an agreed timeframe.
Experience

  • Entry-Level IT Experience:
    • Up to 2 years of experience in an IT environment (including internships or part-time roles).
    • Exposure to incident, change, or problem management processes is a plus.
  • Technical Background:
    • Basic understanding of how IT solutions and infrastructure work together in a corporate environment.
    • Any experience with ITSM tools (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, etc.) is advantageous.
  • Language Skills
    • Fluent in both spoken and written English as well as Spanish.
    • Additional languages, specifically Portuguese, is a bonus but not mandatory.
